In this three-hour hands-on class, you will experience all phases of honey extraction. In this class, we will:

• Pull honey supers from the hives in our bee yard
• Use different ways to remove the bees from the frames
• Uncap the honey in the frames
• Load the frames in the extractor and spin the honey
• Use the crush and strain method to extract honey
• Filter honey
• Bottle your own 1 lb. bottle to take home with you!

We will have plenty of cool water to keep you hydrated and some snacks for you to enjoy!

Dayton and Blue Ridge classes start at 9:00 am ending by 12:00 pm.

Round Rock classes start at 12:00 pm ending by 3:00 pm.
